Solange ich denken kann male, zeichne und gestalte ich.

Auf der Gutenbergschule für Gestaltung in Frankfurt am Main habe ich meine Fachhochschulreife erlangt, und habe später an der Johann Wolfgang von Goethe Universität in Frankfurt am Main Grundschullehramt mit Hauptfach Kunst studiert. Dennoch habe ich fast alle Techniken autodidaktisch durch Ausprobieren, aus Büchern und durch Experimentieren mit Malerfreunden erlernt.

I visited the Gutenbergschule für Gestaltung in Frankfurt am Main and studied to be a teacher for elementary schools with the main topic art at the Johann Wolgang von Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Apart from that I learned all my techniques by myself, out of books and experiments with painter friends.

Durch meinen Vater, der als Brunnenbauer im Bhaktapur Development Project arbeitete, bin ich 4 Jahre, von meinem 8. bis 12. Lebenjahr in Kathmandu, Nepal aufgewachsen. Das war eine wunderbare Zeit in meinem Leben.

My father worked for the Bhaktapur Development Project, due to that our family lived in Kathmandu, Nepal for 4  years where I grew up from my 8th until 12th year. This was a wonderful time in my life.

Die Farbenpracht Nepals in Landschaft, Menschen, Kunst und Kultur haben für immer meinen Geschmack und meine eigene Farbgebung in meinen Bildern geprägt. Neben der Hauptreligion Hinduismus und dem tibetischen Buddhismus hat Nepal noch eine der ältesten schamanischen Kulturen. Das alles hat in meinem Herzen einen dauerhaften Platz gefunden.

The vivid colors of Nepal in landscape, people, art and culture has forever influenced my own taste and sense of color in my art. Next to the main religion hinduism and tibetan buddhism, Nepal has one of the oldest shamanic cultures in the world. All that has found a permanent place in my heart.
